Aikido Classes Taught Using Sign Language

Please note:  There is no longer a separate sign language aikido class.

We are so excited to offer free aikido classes for everyone who needs sign language to communicate.

Day:  Monday - Saturday
Time:  During all regularly scheduled classes
Where:  Florida Aikido Center
Age Range:  13 and up
Cost:  Free through the end of 2011 for anyone who needs sign language to communicate
What to wear:  No need to purchase anything.  Please wear sweatpants (something to cover your knees) and a t-shirt/sweatshirt (it can be chilly in the dojo during winter).

This was originally a separate class but students will now be merged into all regular aikido classes.  The purpose of a separate class was to help us learn enough sign language to bridge the gap and be able to teach aikido (communicating the lessons and the Japanese terms) using sign language.

All aikido classes are now open to hearing and deaf students and we are excited and looking forward to continuing our signing lessons and at the same time, doing something we love to do.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Gina directly at:  Gina@FLaikidoCenter.com.
